Forum - What's happening with theatre today?

We want to hear what you think, so come and share your opinions. We look forward to hearing about any recent productions you have seen and how they represent the current trends or reactions. Input and opinions from everybody are most appreciated (you can even bring programmes if you still have them!)
The discussion (and more) will be led by Adam O'Neill and Nigel Harvey.

You are invited to The Stockholm Players Annual General Meeting on Sunday, the 28th of February where you can join in the following:
• a round-table discussion, where you can SHARE your opinions about what the Stockholm Players should offer its members.
• an opportunity to MEET other members and catch up with old friends whom you haven’t seen for a while (snacks and beverages provided).
• a chance to VOTE members onto the Stockholm Players steering committee.
For those of you with the time and enthusiasm to take on more responsibility and make a lasting contribution to the Stockholm Players, we have some seats opening on the steering committee to be filled at the AGM. The commitment is for one year and it is a great opportunity to contribute in a significant way, develop skills, and lead projects.
The steering committee meets once a month to discuss and decide on topics ranging from what kind of events to organize and what kind of plays to produce to how to grow the membership and market to the local community. Committee members then coordinate and lead projects in between meetings.
Responsibility areas include: Marketing, Membership Contact and Development ,Events Coordinator ,Production Coordinator, Newsletter Editor, Secretary/Administrator,Treasurer
If you love theatre, are ready to take on responsibility, and work for the interest of our members then step forward!
If you are unable to join the steering committee, but are still interested in getting more involved, there are opportunities for you too!.
